Newcastle Heritage Partnership
Newcastle is an extraordinarily historic location. Its history and heritage stretch back to at least Roman times. It was a town of huge importance during both the medieval and industrial periods and today is a fine and thriving modern city.
There has always been a strong local pride in the city which has contributed to the sense of local identity. A wealth of groups and individuals are deeply interested and involved in understanding, enjoying and preserving aspects of this long history and heritage.
This site allows groups and organisations involved in the city's heritage to share information and to reach a wider audience (more information). It also allows the public the opportunity to find out more about:
